How our family found the place we now call home.
It was never just about the house. It was the laughter from the kitchen, the stories told on the porch, and the feeling that everyone belonged. Over the years our family made a tradition of coming together here.
A family favorite, passed down for generations.
Toss six cups of sliced apples with ¾ cup sugar, two tablespoons flour and a teaspoon cinnamon. Place in a double pie crust. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then at 350°F for 35–45 minutes until golden.
A simple tradition that taught us patience, kindness, and the value of time together.
Grandpa had a way of turning an ordinary day by the water into a memory. He taught us to slow down, appreciate the people beside us and find joy in the little things.
